The 61st annual Mr. Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend 2025 has returned to Las Vegas, showcasing the world’s most elite bodybuilding talent at Resorts World. Featuring 11 divisions across men’s and women’s competitions, the event marks the peak of professional bodybuilding — where years of dedication, discipline, and sacrifice are put to the ultimate test.
Intense Competition and Record Prize Money
This year’s Men’s Open lineup is among the most unpredictable in recent memory. Defending champion Samson Dauda — famously nicknamed “The Nigerian Lion” — faces fierce competition from former champions Hadi Choopan and Derek Lunsford. After Dauda’s victory last year, both challengers are determined to reclaim bodybuilding’s most prestigious title — the Sandow Trophy.
With total prize money nearing $2 million, this year’s event features a record-breaking $600,000 payout for the Men’s Open champion, making it the richest Olympia in history.
