Pritchard in Stable Condition
Florida State University linebacker Ethan Pritchard has been released from the hospital after being shot in the back of the head in August. The freshman linebacker is now continuing his recovery at Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, and is reported to be alert, responsive, and able to communicate, according to the Florida State Seminoles.

Pritchard’s release from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital was an emotional moment. His teammates and coaching staff applauded him as he left, highlighting the strong bond within the Seminoles team. Head coach Mike Norvell has been described as a “constant presence” throughout Pritchard’s recovery.
Ethan’s father, Earl Pritchard, expressed deep gratitude for the support. “Coach Norvell has checked in every day and has been a constant presence visiting us here at the hospital,” he said. “My heart is filled with gratitude for the outpouring of support from so many people.”
The Shooting Incident

The shooting occurred on August 31 outside an apartment complex in Havana, Florida. Authorities believe the attack was a case of mistaken identity, and four arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
